Frontier Fiddlers
The Frontier Fiddlers are a group of Division students selected from
several schools. Student performers are assembled when a request is
received to perform at local community or provincial functions.
Rarely, the same groups of students perform together as new students are
eager to join and share in the experience. Students enjoy themselves
thoroughly and the tremendous effort they put into practice results in a
wonderful performance.
Frontier Fiddlers have performed at many local community and provincial
festivals, events and conferences. Some examples of performances
include The Pas Trappers' Festival, Festival du Voyageur, and
conferences held by the Canadian School Boards Association, Manitoba
Association of School Trustees, Manitoba Association of School
Superintendents, the Manitoba Teachers' Society, and the Manitoba First
Nations Education Resource Centre. Students even performed for Her
Majesty The Queen during her last tour of Winnipeg!
