The Career Studies Department encompasses High School Programs, Career/Personal Awareness, Home Placement, Work Education, Adult and Continuing Education, P.E.N.T., Health and Wellness, and Physical Education. These programs provide services and resources to assist students develop the knowledge, skills, strategies and attitudes leading to secondary school graduation and development of leadership and employability skills for the successful transition from secondary school to post secondary training and/or the world of work.

Expanded Options Program (EOP)
The Expanded Options Program is a program that allows students to take Technical Vocational and other option courses currently not being offered at their school.

Week #2 May17-21, 2010

Regional Career Days 2010
Frontier Regional Career Days will be held March 8-12, 2010 this year. Locations will be confirmed by mid November.

CareerX 2010
University College of the North and Frontier School Division invite schools to participate in CareerX 2010.
CareerX is a 6-day career orientation program for Grade 8 students who will be enrolling in high school in September. The overall goal is to have students start to think of life after high school. High school is far more meaningful for students who have set goals for themselves and understand how high school prepares them for a post secondary career.
