Pandemic Planning
Pandemic Planning
Frontier School Division is taking every step possible to be prepared for pandemic influenza. Pertinent information about H1N1 has been sent to schools and offices for sharing with all students, parents/guardians and employees. In addition, the Division has a written and Board-approved Pandemic Response Plan (Edition 1) that is available from the Quick Links section of this website. This plan, approved by the Board in September 2009, will be reviewed monthly with adjustments made and approved as required.
The Division is proactive in addressing the major concern of H1N1 within the Division and the province. We all play a role in preventing H1N1. We encourage you to review the plan and address your questions or concerns with your school principal, Area Superintendent or Chief Superintendent.
The Frontier School Board of Trustees reviews the Division's Pandemic Response Plan at each Board meeting.
At their February 9, 2010 meeting, the Board noted that no revisions are required to the document. Therefore, Edition 1 continues in effect for use in the Division.
