 Planning, Accountability and Reporting


One of the responsibilities of the Frontier School Board of Trustees is to be accountable to the community. Being accountable includes reporting to the community and providing opportunities for community input. The Board does this in accordance with all statutory requirements to implement provincial educational standards and policies. Tools that are used to reach this end-effect are:

  • Five Year Capital Plan and Budget
  • Annual Operating Budget
  • Audited Financial Statements
  • School Plans

The Board is also responsible for making decisions which reflect both the values of the Frontier community and the interests of the entire Division. Tools that used to reach this end-effect are:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Stakeholder meetings
  • Annual School Committee Conferences
  • Divisional Annual Reports
  • Governance and Operations Reports
  • Board Meeting Minutes and Highlights
  • Audits
  • Community Reports
