The Frontier School Board of Trustees consists of ten members who were
first elected to their local school committee, then to their Area
Advisory Committee, and finally to t
he Board. Members are elected to a
four year term of office.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance of the Division,
overseeing the planning and delivery of education programs and
services. The Board responds to the interests of the communities;
therefore, Board action reflects the values of the community.
The Board's responsibility is carried out primarily by policy
development, strategic planning, and budgetary establishment and
control. All policies and practices are compliant with provincial and
federal laws.
